oh my lord... a GLORIOUS weekend off :P
So you got to sleep in you say? oh no, the universe has other plans for this fare boy of the rock of ice, I have noticed that when I do have a morning off something (or someone) always finds a way to wake me up before noon (people of my age are firm believers that sleeping in is waking up between two or three at the earliest) not that I'm complaining about this morning mind you, I got stirred by an sms from Þrallur who decided to come back home and didn't have any need to tell me... FUSS HÉGÓMI!!
So just this morning (it's 13:55 right now, I WAS gonna wake up in about an hour or so) I have fetched some laundry from the clothes line, and put more up to dry... although I have more dirty laundry to put in the machine but I didn't have time, Matti had to get going. Then we went to the Kringla (the mall of Reykjavík) and got to see Þrallur who of course went straight back to work (former/current employee of the grand specialty coffee company Kaffitár of which yours truly is also a ever improving employee/trainee)... And Dússí, a girl that also works at kaffitár at kringlan, suggested that I request to be either moved to kringlan or get to work there from time to time because I was complaining about not knowing how to set and work the grinder they have, I don't think I make good coffee at the national museum (where my coffee shop is) because It has a pre-set automatic grinder... SURE there's less excess coffee straight to the trash BUT theres also worse coffee with less personality! I understand now what people are talking about different coffee from different people, like a latte from kringlan is very creamy and nice and a latte from Bankastræti has this aftertaste or filling of something like leather or burnt wood... I love it... my lattes (or really just lattes in general) from the national museum have this stingy taste, it's not agressive or anything like that but it still bothers me. Plus I wont be able to compete in the barista competition if I only know how to work the automatic grinder :(.
So also after I got the text from Þrallur I tried to fall asleep again but then I had a GLORIOUS moment of awareness.... tonight I will fall asleep and tomorrow when I wake up... there will be only a few lonely moments till my love and light will be back in my arms and I in his :D this discovery gave my heart a jolt of adrenalin and my whole body got this buzz of delight :) and with that my sleep was out the window (which incessantly kept making this click nose in a completely random pattern which drove me NUTS!).

ca. 21 hours till I will be a complete person again, happy, loved and in love.

Hi, wow... erm update I guess.

Past few days have been a bit cool :) I got my vacation prolonged, so this may 20th when my beloved comes to iceland we wont be spereated until he goes for a short while to another place in ICELAND so I can see him pretty much when I feel like it as long as I can find transportation. TEH FUN!

Also this week I got great news :) me, Arna, Brynjar and Andri K are the new directors/overseers/leaders (pick your term) of the youth group of the '78 orginisation.

I was hoping I could make these announcements sound a bit more interesting... oh well... they're fun for me =)

oooh... one phseudo-bad-kindof-good-I-don't-know-what-news I believe some feelings I have aren't quite normal so I am going to try to get some phsychological help, find a shrink or something-rather... Anybody have a FANTASTIC cheap shrink hidden in they're back pocket?

ég er í smá vanda.... miklum vanda.... Haffi er að fara að flytja út í sumar (vonandi) í sína eigin íbúð með kallinum sínum... vandamálið er að Haffi er að hugsa um lítin loðin búttaðan englabossa sem heitir Snoopy og kallinn hans Haffa er með ofnæmi fyrir englabossanum og getur hann því ekki búið hjá Haffa og Hansa, Snoopy getur heldur ekki verið heima hjá mömmu hans Haffa þar sem hún þolir ekki litla mússí mússí englabossann minn og vill bara hafa hann í mínu herbergi. Spurninginn er... vill einhver og getur ætleitt englabossann og hugsað vel um hann fyrir Haffa til frambúðar?...

Hvað er að frétta af Haffinu... Kaffi Haffinu... *fliss* nújæja, ég er akkurat núna uppí sumarbústað að chilla og borða góðan mat með mömmu, Jóa og ástinni minni :) hann er að horfa á Idendity sem er mjög góð spennumynd að mínu mati ;P mér líkaði allavega mjög vel við hana. Áðan var ég að spila Baldur's Gate sem er einhver skemmtilegast leikur sem um getur hugsast.... þegar maður hefur ekki unnið hann áður og diskarnir ekki það rispaðir að hann hökktir :S endaði á því að svindla svo mikið til að fá meiri pening og XP að hann hætti að vera spennandi.... anylou..
Ég, eins og flestir vita, er að vinna á Kaffitár í Þjóðminjasafninu, það er fjör, maður er líka búinn að vinna sig upp metorðastigann, geri gott kaffi og flott og hef verið treyst fyrir að opna, loka, gera upp og allskonar fínerí :D YAHOO!
Ef þið eruð farin að pæla í myndinni sem er postuð þarna eins og krækiber á kú getið fengið að vita að Haffið og Hansið eru á leið til póllands í júní að fara í workshop til mikils metins leikhóps sem heitir eftir þorpinu sem hann heldur sig í eða Gardzienice. OMG SKILURU! Það besta er að ég hef séð sýningu hjá þeim og hún er vægast sagt ORGASMIC! líkamleg, coriographeruð, falleg og mögnuð, gamaldags á góðan hátt.... svo margt æðislegt! OG Rose Bruford (skólinn sem ég ætla að sækja um í) KENNIR eitthvað um Gardzienice! :D:D:D fjör!

I was trying to open a LJ account the other night... sheesh this thing can get complicated... and not fun-complicated like the rubics cube but boring complicated like advanced geometry ("too many options may kill a man"), must ask pre-op transexual LJ-holic to assist caffinated technologically inept ex-MH-student.

Well we have premiered, the Icelandic family cirkus is on and it has gotten a warm welcome, nothing like a good applause to warm ones rear. I think that anybody who sees this play/circus thing should keep in mind that many of the family members and cirkus animals and dancers are the same people, do go wild and have fun anylising the phsychological bond between the same actors different characters, its all the Freudian fun you could have ;).

I think Klaus will die soon :( hes started acting up like one tends to do in the ripe old age of 2... I need him to live, if I dont have him my body will spasm in the horrific lack of music and the deafening thunder of silence, motorsounds and other peoples shoes scraping the pavement, my own universe forever lost.

Speaking of universes, I like the idea of fiddlersgreen, the place where good dreams origin. Its a place in the Sandman comics, I was just informed of this the other day, I did not read it myself sadly, and it did ever so interest me since a good friend of mine uses this as a screenname and it helps me understand why. Fiddlersgreen is such a queer name if you do not understand its real origin. I'd like do point your attention to the upper right corner of this post where you can see a glimpse of MY Fiddlersgreen, the Maldives, where my dreams come from :). Also the future location of my and mines honeymoon... hehe... hunangsmáni...

Today is the very first 100% day off I have had in quite some time... well not exactly, in a week, but it feel ever so longer. It feels SO GOOD! I am going to partace in the homosexual movie festival and take in a movie or two, three or four. Also I think transamerica is at the University-movie-house (háskólabíó)... well see.

Anyway I'm off the get coffee and try to find a t-shirt to please my man....

Wow... its been wonderful here in England, I've had the killer doughsticks I longed for, the pizza place is called cafe Piazza b.t.w., and I've seen a spur of the moment not-really-a-wedding-wedding in an inflatable church at leicester square. I've seen a one man play called "the Andersen project" very cool piece, I am going to see a slovakian group tonight that only performs every five years so I am very lucky to be here at the moment :). My Fianceè gave me my valentines present today since I wont be here for valentines, he gave me a key-ring with our picture inside and two pairs og freaky contact lenses :P I love them, and the key-ring is so awesome you can see it in the upper right corner here... Im using the picture fetus for the first time so im not sure how it'll come out.

I also had a meeting with the course director of the ETA (european theatre arts) got to listen to him introducing the course to a batch of applicants, its wondful, the more I hear about this school the more I want to apply there :). During my meeting with Emilio (course director) he kept implying that it was without a doubt that I would be accepted :) he atleast told me that hopefully everything would go according to plan and that he considers my experience with theatre and academics sufficient for application. He advised me to read plays of certain genres and books concerning criticism and theatre and when he heard about that already being my plan he was very pleased :)

þetta er draumur sem mig dreymdi um daginn, ég vissi að ég gæti ekki sofnað nema að ég skrifaði niður hvað mig dreymdi.

Mig dreymdi að ég, Arna og Atli værum í húsi sem er eins og veitingahús nema hvað að það var eins og hann væri yfirgefin, en ekkert ónýtur en samt ekkert smart. Ég hafði víst tekið eitthvað inn sem ég hélt að væri í lagi en svo verð ég bara lamaður og missi meðvitud. Arna er að reyna eitthvað að lífga mig við á meðan Atli stendur fyrir ofan mig með eitthvað oddhvasst hann segir "kanski hjálpar þetta" síðan rekur mig á hol með því. Síðan er Atli að draga fólk inn á staðin til að lækna mig en ekkert af þeim eru læknar og hann er líka búinn að skera og kviðrista þau öll og síðan dregur hann gaur inn á tölvustól, það vantar á gaurinn fæturna og hendurnar, það er búið að skera hann akkurat fyrir neðan hné og víðsvegar um líkama hans. Arna minnist á það við Atla "af hverju ertu að draga inn fólk sem er ekki einusinni læknar?" og þá snýst tölvustóllinn og maðurinn þar svarar "það myndi nú ekki breyta miklu þar sem ég sé hvort eð er ekkert" og þá sé ég að það vantar í hann augun. Ég næ síðan loksins að hreyfa líkaman aftur og hleyp í burtu frá Atla sem er núna búinn að breytast í einhvern annan en er samt Atli you know? nema hvað að hann er núna kominn með stungusárið mitt en hann er búinn að troða rassgatinu sínu í það til að stöðva blæðingarnar. síðan allt í einu er ég kominn inn á annan gang og ég er einn. Það hengur bolur með hauskúpu í loftinu og það eru bjálkar út um allt og það er langur gangur beint framundan, og ég er skelfingu lostinn þar sem ég veit að þetta er önnur martröð en þá fer þetta herbergi og gangurinn að breytast í herbergið mitt, Bjálkarnir hverfa, bolurinn breytist í vegginn minn og hauskúpan þar verður sú sama og inní herberginu mínu og ég næ loks að hreyfa líkaman í alvörunni.

FOOOOOK þetta var súrt.
